Not everyone wants to rely on the sanitary facilities at the campsite, but prefers a certain privacy and independence.
We thought about this and included this multifunctional shower tent in the Skandika tent family.
Whether as a shower tent, changing room or toilet house, this tent is perfect for this and packed with practical extras that make self-sufficient life easier on every camping adventure.
Generous cut with 150 x 150 cm base area and with a total height of 230 cm, this small tent allows an astonishing amount of freedom of movement. With a dead weight of only 3.5 kg, it is easy to take anywhere and can also be set up quickly and easily with only two fiberglass rods. A suitable tent floor is included and can be attached separately under the tent so that you do not stand in the mud when showering.
The durable polyester material is silver-coated from the inside so that even indoor lighting at night prevents embarrassing silhouette formation of the tent user. For protection from above, the roof cover can be stretched, but it can also be omitted. This is particularly practical if the camping shower is hung outside the tent (e.g. B. on a tree), because the hoses and the shower head can be guided through the roof into the interior of the tent. The loose tent floor also allows hose guidance from below and loops in the corner of the tent help guide the shower upwards.
Inside the tent there are practical storage bags for soap, shampoo and the like on each side and at the back there is a loop that can be closed with Velcro for the safe attachment of a roll of toilet paper. A towel rail is stretched under the rear window.
The tent has windows on three sides, all of which can be covered from the outside with a privacy screen. On the left and right, the windows are provided with mosquito net. The rear window has no net so that you can reach outwards even under the locked privacy screen, because there is also a towel rail there. Thus, the towel stays dry when showering in the tent and is still securely hung up and always at hand.
The front door can be rolled up and fastened to support a quick drying of the interior of the tent after showering, but even with the door closed, the mesh windows and ventilation under the roof cover ensure good ventilation. A small transparent bag is attached to the front of the tent next to the door. If necessary, you can insert a self-designed note here to indicate whether the tent is currently “occupied” or “free”.
